Hustad

Hustad is a village (and former municipality) in Fræna Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It lies along the Hustadvika coastal area. The village of Hustad is located in the Nerland urban area which covers about and has a population (2013) of 249.
Hustad is a thriving village with food stores, a bank, parking facilities, and several other businesses. Hustad has the Stemshest mountains to the east and there are five lakes nearby that are well-stocked with trout. There are also numerous hiking paths such as the Atlanterhavsveien just away. Hustad Church is located in the village.
==Municipality==
Hustad Municipality existed from 1918 until 1964 when it was merged into Fræna Municipality. The municipality encompassed most of the northern part of the present-day Fræna Municipality. The village of Hustad was the administrative centre of the municipality of Hustad.
